Where can I set the patient's healthcare type so that bills for my out of province patients are created correctly for reciprocal billing?
Out of province patients should have their healthcare type set to the province they are covered by, as well as having their address located in the same province as their health card type. You can set a healthcare type for out of province patients by doing the following:
Juno UI:
1. Open the patient's Master Record (M)
2. Select the "Province" location below the address field to their home province
3. In the "Health Insurance" section select the province from the "Health Card Type" dropdown.
4. The province selection for both home address and health card type must match
5. Click "Save"
6. Create your invoice in ClinicAid
Juno Classic Interface:
1. Open the patient's master file/demographic
2. Click the "Edit" link next to their demographic record number.
3. Select the "Province" location below the address field to their home province
4. In the "Health Insurance" section select the province from the "Health Card Type" dropdown.
5. The province selection for both home address and health card type must match.
6. Click "Update Record"
Setting this will allow for invoices to be created correctly for reciprocal billing.
