I get a "Failed to merge records" error when I'm trying to merge records. What am I doing wrong?


In order to merge records, you'll need to follow these steps.

1. Open the Admin page.
2. Scroll down to the Misc section and click on the Demographic Merge Records page.
3. Search for the patient records you want to merge.
4. Check off all of the checkboxes you wish to merge and make sure you also select a main record using the radio button.
5. Click the "Merge Selected Records" button.

The "Failed to merge records" error is most commonly caused by forgetting to select the main record using the radio button. You will need to check off the records you wish to merge, as well as identify the main record, in order for the merge to work properly.
